The French inspired cellar door is tucked down the end of the driveway embraced by giant pine trees and rows of vineyards. This winery is smaller than most around the area which makes it perfect for an intimate event or re-connecting and indulging in the peace and quiet while enjoying a crisp glass of wine. Mont Rouge Estate uses a traditional production method when bottling their wines. Their selection includes Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. Wines are matured for 12 to 14 months before being delicately hand bottled. The knowledge and passion owner and bring while delivering your wine tasting will blow your mind. Be amazed by how the impact of the weather dramatically affects the outcome of each wine, quickly turning a cool climate wine into a bouquet with rich and fruity flavour.
Roses surround the boutique restaurant and bring a burst of colour to your already pleasant setting, enhancing the homely environment. The seasonal menu is made for sharing and the relaxing ambience one not to miss. They have all your classics like; a trio of dips and charcuterie board but also excite you with gourmet pizzas, pork & fennel meatballs and seasonal sweets menu for those who can resist the temptations of a decadent desert.
