4 Must Visit Coffee Shops in Dromana

Just a quick 15 minute down the road from Mornington lays the small town of Dromana.

Stretched out along the beach front road you’ll find a stunning range of captivating shops, there’s quirky opp shops, mouth-watering eateries, little boutiques, and must I mention the IGA supermarket – voted as the best in Australia. (Trust me, it’s worth the visit). And most importantly, cute little coffee shops where you can immerse yourself in a delicious short macchiato or soy iced latte.

Here are 4 of the cutest coffee shops you must try in Dromana!

Laneway Espresso

Their vintage furniture and colourful style makes quite a first impression when you arrive. Strolling down their laneway you’ll see smiling faces enjoying the morning sun, and puppies with their tails wagging. Laneway is all for the community, it’s filled with local’s art work and serving amazing local produce. When you’re there, grab yourself a Chai and there finest smashed avo, ‘cause really, who can go past a smashed avo right?!

Wombat Cafe

Tucked away in a back street in Dromana, you’d need to be in the know to stumble upon

Wombat Café. But can I tell you, once you’ve found it, you’ll be returning time and time again! This vegan café brings a whole new light on food; veggie- sceptics take note: this place doesn’t sacrifice on the flavour. Their menu is as large as their servings (which will keep you full all day long), from tofu scramble, burrito wraps, banana pancakes and vegan nachos. Plus if you fall in love with any of their food and wonder how they made their amazing vegan feta, you can purchase the products in store from their mini grocery store. Bonus!

Bass Surfboards

If you’re a late riser and love a cruise morning, take yourself down to Bass Surfboards, located in the Dromana industrial estate. This groovy surf shop has teamed up with a local artist to create an Industrial- Nautical styled shop full of all the great surf brands we know and love, large surfboards and bright artwork. And best thing is they’ve added a little coffee shop as well! So you can sip on a warm brew while you stroll around the store admiring the brands or joining in on one of their craft days.
